We are pleased to inform that Middle East Geospatial Forum (formerly Map Middle East) 2012, 8th Annual Middle East Conference & Exhibition on Geospatial Information, Technology & Applications, is scheduled to be held on 3– 4 April 2012 at Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), Doha, State of Qatar.
Middle East Geospatial Forum (MEGF) is an international platform designed for building networks to enable g-lateral ties in the Middle East region for geospatial community which aims to look into many aspects of this technology by bringing in the geospatial experts from across the length and breadth of the region.
The region a whole has been witnessing a speedy development and progress, But, in order to enable the future generations to enjoy the fruits of development, the region has started focusing on sustainable development for a better future. This necessitates the use of geospatial technologies which facilitate effective decision making by making use of reliable, accurate, relevant and timely & spatially referenced data.
